High Court ne unki favour kardi, lekin Supreme Court ne verdict ko reverse kar diya. Court ne kaha, agar company apne employees ke saath agreement karega, toh voh unhe compulsory overtime pe kaam karne se rok sakta hai. Lekin agar company ke pas aisa agreement nahi hai, toh employees ko overtime pe kaam karne ka hukum milega.

Mujhe lagta hai ki Bharat Forge Ltd. v. Workmen (1979) ka judaai ke adhikaar ke liye bahut bada mahatva hai. SC ne is case mein judaai ke adhikaar ko ek kaanooni hamaaraadha ki shakti dene ki jaanch ki thi, jisse judaai ke adhikaar ke mukyaatva ko aur bhi majboot bana diya gaya.
