User-generated content reflects the views of individual community members and not of IndianLaw360. We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, or currency of user-submitted content.

4. Accounts & eligibility

4.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing in, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

4.2 OAuth sign-in

Accounts are created via Google or GitHub OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your OAuth provider account. We are not liable for loss or damage arising from unauthorised access to your account.

4.3 One account per person

You may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans, manipulate likes, or game any ranking feature is prohibited.

4.4 Account accuracy

You agree to keep your profile information (display name, bio) accurate and not misleading. Impersonating any person, entity, or IndianLaw360 itself is prohibited.

5. User-generated content

5.1 Your ownership

You retain ownership of the content you post (posts, comments, articles). By submitting content, you grant IndianLaw360 a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content on the Website for the purpose of operating the platform.

5.2 Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You represent that:

• You have the right to post the content and it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights.
• The content does not violate any applicable law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder.
• The content is not false, defamatory, obscene, or harmful.

5.3 Content licence to other users

Content you post publicly (posts, comments, published articles) is viewable by all users, including unauthenticated visitors.

5.4 Removal

We reserve the right to remove or restrict any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or that we determine — in our sole discretion — is harmful to the community, without prior notice.

6. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Post content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, harassing, threatening, or incites violence or hatred.

• Spam, flood, or post repetitive, off-topic, or self-promotional content.

• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features, including CSRF protections or rate limits.
• Manipulate like counts or rankings using bots, scripts, or multiple accounts.
• Violate any applicable Indian or international law while using the Website.

7. Tools & calculators

7.1 CUET PG Score Calculator

This tool fetches your publicly accessible NTA response sheet from the URL you provide and computes an unofficial score estimate. By using this tool you acknowledge:

• Results are unofficial and may differ from NTA's official scoring.
• Rank estimates are based on a sample of calculator users and are illustrative only.
• You are submitting a URL that relates to your own result; you must not submit another person's URL without their consent.
• We store a cryptographic hash of your URL and your score solely for the relative-rank feature. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7.2 Bare Act Navigator

Bare act text is provided for educational reference only. Legislation changes frequently; always verify with official government sources (India Code, indiacode.nic.in) before relying on any provision.

8. Intellectual property

The IndianLaw360 name, logo, website design, and original editorial content are the intellectual property of IndianLaw360 and may not be reproduced without written permission.

Bare act text reproduced on this Website is sourced from India Code (a public government repository) and is used for educational purposes under applicable public-domain provisions.

If you believe any content on this Website infringes your copyright, please contact us with details of the allegedly infringing content and we will investigate.

9. Third-party services

The Website uses third-party services including Google AdSense, Google OAuth, GitHub OAuth, and Hostinger hosting. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. IndianLaw360 is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

11. Limitation of liability

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Website shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for free services, is zero).

12. Indemnification

You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Website ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 8, 10, 11, 12, 14) shall survive.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Website shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

For registered community members, we will provide an in-app notification for significant changes. Your continued use of the Website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
