So, in 2014, the Supreme Court held that the concept of ' continuous service' applies even when there's a break in employment due to layoff or retrenchment. The SC basically said that just because you got separated, doesn't mean your marriage (employment) is invalid. Now, I know some of you might be thinking, "But what about the employee's fault? "Bhai, ye question bahut interesting hai. Bharat Forge ki shartiyon aur kaaryaalay ki sthiti ko dekh kar, lagta hai ki unki karyavaahi prabhavit ho sakti hai. Unhone 2017 mein CFA kahaan hai, jiska arth hai kaaryakartaon ko kaam chhorne ki adhikaar diya jaata hai. Lekin, kabhi-kabhi logon ko ye adhikaar nahin milta hai.
