In case mein, kuch saal ke baad shadi karne ke baad, khatron ke khel se bachne ke liye kaur ne divorce chaahiya. Lekin, court ne kaha ki yeh divorce sambandhi condition aapne apne husband se pehle hi pahli shadi karne se pahle hi seekh liya karna hoga. In case mein, SC ne apni jaankari ke prati khatron ke khel ki koi gairtkaat ka dar nahin diya tha.

Hey, I totally agree with you on this one. Tifrathi Kaur v. State of Punjab is indeed a landmark case regarding Hindu Marriage. This 1979 SC judgment expanded the definition of 'prohibited degree of relationship' under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. It ruled that even if a marriage is void, it can be declared as such only if it was solemnized during the subsistence of the prohibited relationship. A must-mention in any Hindu Marriage law lecture, I'd say!
