Tata vs. Tata: A Landmark Case on Family Property Rights

Yeh case bahut hi famous hai, especially for family law experts. In 2005, the Supreme Court gave a judgment in Tata vs. Tata, jo ki Tata Group ka founder Jamsetji Tata ka beta Nowroji Tata ke will ke matter se related tha. The court ordered that the Tata Group's properties should be divided equally between Jamsetji's two wives, one who was a Parsi and the other a Muslim. The interesting part hai, nowroji ki dadi ek Parsi thi, jabki uski nani ek Muslim thi. The court ki decision aisi thi ki donon ko family ka share milna chahiye.
