Should Minimum Wage be calculated on Average Earnings or Gross Revenue?
labour clat_ug beginner discussionYaar, I'm team Average Earnings all the way! We all know how those crony capitalists think they can just squeeze more out of their employees. What's the logic behind calculating minimum wage on gross revenue, man? That's like thinking MS Dhoni's salary should be based on CSK's total IPL revenue, not his individual contributions. It's bloody unfair.
But, honestly, our Labour Laws still don't give enough power to the workers. They're just pawns in the system, man. The average earnings method at least tries to give them a fair deal. It's not perfect, but it's a start. What do you guys think? Should Labour Laws prioritise the average earnings of workers over the gross revenue of companies?

Arre yaar, yeh discussio bahut interesting hai. Calculation of minimum wage on average earnings vs gross revenue is a complex issue (acha, let's break it down). If minimum wage is calculated on average earnings, employees will get a fair share of their contributions. Ladki, but if calculated on gross revenue, koi fairness nahin hogi. Kaafi employees khud hi kamjori mein khareed rahe hain (many employees are struggling to make ends meet). So, average earnings pe minimum wage calculate karna hoga, bas.
