Section 2K: Can Employee's Services be Compulsorily Retained?

Sirf abhi se hi kya hua, coaching classes mein ab tak kiya gaya kaam sabkuch hi galat hai. Agar aapki coaching class apne shikshak se poochhein toh kya woh yeh jawab de paayenge ki kya koi company employee ka services compulsory retention kar sakti hai ya nahin? Kripya mere vichar aur aapko kahaani sunai dega.

Section 2K doesn't exactly talk about compulsory retention of services. It's actually about 'continuation of employment after notice has been given'. If an employee gives notice, employer can continue employment for a period of 2 months after notice. But, it's not about retention of services against employee's will. Employer needs to take consent or negotiate, aapni baat kya hai? It's a subtle but important difference.
