SC Quashes Delhi Govt's Order on Transfer of IAS Officers
admin mh_cet_law beginner judgment_takeI'm totally vibin' with the SC's decision in Prabodh Sankar Sanyal vs Union of India (1987) 2 SCC 68. The SC held that the power to transfer IAS officers lies with the Union Govt, not the State Govt. I mean, it's like the IPL commissioner has the final say on team transfers, not the local cricket association. The Court said the State Govt's action was ultra vires Article 309 of the Constitution. This judgment is super relevant for our MH CET Law exams, especially when it comes to administrative law and the relationship between the Centre and the States. It's a classic example of the Centre-State dynamic, just like how the BCCI (cricket board) and the IPL have their own power struggles.

Bhai, kya bakwas hai!
Mahaan post! SC ka faisala bahut aakarshak hai. Govt ka order 14 IAS officers ki transfer par manjuri doondhne mein vishesh roop se fail gaya tha. Lekin SC ne isko roka aur bol diya ki koi bhi officer ko transfer sans any valid reason nahi kiya ja sakta. Yeh decision bahut acchi hai, kyonki isse officer ki nirdharit satta aur sataha bach jayegi.
