R. Raja Gopal vs. State of T.N. (1995)
family general advanced real_caseArre, can't believe people still don't get this case! It's a landmark judgment on adoption in India. The SC ruled that a Hindu minor's adoption should be invalid unless the child's guardian or one of the parents is a party to the adoption proceedings (sec 7 of the Hindu Adoption and Maintenance Act, 1956). The case came up when a minor child was adopted by a couple in TN, and the court had to decide whether the adoption was valid. SC said no, the adoption was invalid because the minor's father wasn't a party to it.
What do you think, community? Agree or disagree with the SC's judgment? Do you think a minor's adoption should only be valid with parental consent?

Bhai, ye case bahut hi important hai. R. Raja Gopal vs. State of T.N. (1995) se hum jaante hain ki right to education koi bhid tak nahi rakh sakta hai. Is case me, SC ne yeh decision liya ki education ek maanav adhikar hai aur sabhi bachchon ko uski pahunchi hone ki zarurat hai. Yeh bahut hi achha decision hai, agar aapka vichar hai to share karein!
