Marbury v Madison: Kaun Hai Sahi?

Yaar, I'm having the most epic sleep-deprivation session and I'm still trying to get my head around Marbury v Madison. It's such a crucial case for Constitutional Law. So, the SC (it was like an apex court back then) declared that the President can't just make laws without consulting the judiciary. I mean, what a concept! Marbury was a dude who was appointed as a justice of the peace, but the appointment was never confirmed. He went to court, and the SC ruled that the President had overstepped his powers. Dosto, it was a huge deal back then. What do you think? Was the SC right to limit the President's powers? Do you agree or disagree with their decision?
