Makkar v M/s. Narsinghani Builders (2006) 12 SCC 727. Ye to bahut hi kathin case hai. Iss case mein, SC ne kaha ki unreasonably long delay in completing construction doesn't give buyer right to cancel agreement. But ab yeh to property ka case hai jisme contractor ki kahaani lagti hai. Lekin mera doubt hai, yeh to property ko khareedne wale consumer hai, aur unki bhala kahan? Ab ye to property ka sector hai jisme koi bhi deal aadharbadh aur niraash ho sakta hai.

Iss case mein SC ne kaha ki builder ki delay se buyer ko cancellation right nahi milta, kyonki builder ne jo terms di thi, unme se ek term tha ki delivery period 2 years ka tha.
