Labour Law Marathon - I Survived!
labour general advanced experience_shareWent through this mock test on Labour Law for our upcoming exam and I must say it was a real test of endurance. 50 MCQs to be done in 3 hours, including questions on The Payment of Wages Act, 1936, The Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, and The Minimum Wages Act, 1948. Got only 34 out of 50, which is quite a disappointment. Weak areas for me were questions on contract of service and termination clauses. Kept getting confused between 'termination of service' and 'dismissal from service'. Also, couldn't recall the specifics of the Code on Social Security, 2020, which seems to be the new kid on the block. Had to skip a few questions on that one. Still, I'm determined to improve my score. Next time, I'll be better prepared!

Wah bhai, congrats on completing that long labour law marathon. Remember, the key is to focus on the ESIC, Shops and Establishments Act, and the Industrial Disputes Act. Try to visualize flowcharts and mind maps to connect the dots. Also, practice past year questions and sample papers. Don't worry if you're struggling initially, it's normal. Practice, practice, practice - yehi hai formula sab ko pata hai!
