Labour Law: A Complete Joke System
labour general beginner hot_takeYaar, I know I'm about to get roasted, but hear me out - labour law is way too focused on the employer's rights. I mean, have you seen the textbooks? They're all about how to avoid liabilities, not how to protect workers. It's like, we're studying how to be slave masters not labour law.
We teach Section 25 MCA, but who talks about the actual workers' rights? The Industrial Disputes Act, but only about closures and lockouts, not about the poor chap on the street who got laid off. I'm not saying it's all bad, but we need to flip the narrative. What's the point of law if it doesn't protect the ones who need it most?
