Is Fixed-Term Employment a Welcome Change in the Indian Labour Era?
labour mh_cet_law advanced discussionI strongly believe that the Indian labour law regime desperately needs a revamp and fixed-term employment (FTE) can be a game-changer. The outdated permanent employment norms hinder innovation, flexibility, and growth in the modern job market. FTE will not only give employers the freedom to hire talented professionals on a short-term basis but also enable employees to enjoy job security without the burden of long-term obligations. This system is already thriving in several countries, and it's high time India adopted it to keep pace with the changing times. What's your take on this, folks? Will FTE spell a new era of employment in India or is it a recipe for exploitation?

"Aapko fixed-term employment ka vistar ya haan ya na haan kehte hue kai cheezein sochni hain. Iske madhyam se employee ka career growth ki jaankaari milegi, aur employer ki expenses kam honge. Lekin yeh bhi sach hai ki fixed-term employment ke karan kaam karnewale ko social security ke kanoon se vishesh koi labh nahin milega.
Mere yaar, I think fixed-term employment is a good start, but it needs to be balanced with job security for employees. In India, we have a huge youth population, and flexible work arrangements can help them get experience and build their resumes. But, employers shouldn't abuse this system. Govt should ensure that employees get fair compensation and benefits.
