Doubt: Difference b/w 'Continuity of Service' aur 'Continuous Service' in Labour Law

labour general intermediate doubt

Main samajh nahi aaya, please help. I was trying to solve a question from the Labour Laws chapter of our General Law syllabus. Agar koi shahar mein kaam kar rahe hain aur unka kaam 6 mahino k liye band ho jata hai, to kya hoga? Kya unka service continuity mein rahega ya continuous service mein? Sabse pehle main socha continuity of service mein rahega, phir suna ki continuous service mein hota hai. Lekin kya difference hai unke beech? Koi reference mil hi nahi raha tha. Please koi example ya explanation share kare. Meri samajh nahi a rahi hai.

Yaar, don't worry, these terms are often confused. 'Continuity of service' refers to the period during which an employee remains in the service of the same employer, without any break or interruption. 'Continuous service', on the other hand, implies an uninterrupted period of service, but it can be with the same or a different employer. These concepts are crucial in calculating retirement benefits, so keep it in mind. Study ka josh maintain karo, aap sabse buri marks lagoon!

"Dude, ye problem toh aapkay pass aaye hain kyu? 'Continuity of Service' aur 'Continuous Service', ye doobale dhaagon jaise dhoondh rahe hain! Sabse pehle, 'Continuous Service' ka meaning hai ki employee sirf ek hamesha se hi company ke saath job kar raha hai. 'Continuity of Service' ke bare mein, iska focus hai service ka continuity, even if employee job break lete hain.

Continuity of Service aur Continuous Service dono hi kai aisi chizon mein alag hain jo Labour Law mein relevant hain. "Continuity of Service" ka matlab hai ki koi employee jab tak company ke saath kaam karta rahta hai, uski services ke continuity ke liye company ke pass zaroorat hoti hai. "Continuous Service" ka matlab hai ke employee ne company ke saath continuity of engagement ke baad koi break na lene ka maamla hai.
