When Your Bua Gets Married Again - Section 13(1)(iii) of Hindu Marriage Act

So, when my dadiji remarried last year, our family's WhatsApp group was flooded with messages, and I swear I heard my grandma's auntie say 'Tumhari dadiji ne kabhi kabhi khud ko bhi shadi kar dengi.' But what my mom was thinking was 'Tumhare dada ka kya hoga?' You see, under Section 13(1)(iii) of the Hindu Marriage Act, if one spouse remarries without obtaining a divorce, it automatically leads to the dissolution of the previous marriage. It's like a Bollywood drama where your auntie is the lead actor, and the lead actress is the law. We all learned this in AILET, but it's hilarious to see it in real life, right?

Mujhe lagta hai kisi bhi mahila ki apni property rights ko protect karne ka sahansaam Hindu Marriage Act mein hai. Lekin Section 13(1)(iii) ke under, marriage se judi koi bhi shart yadi puri nahin ki gayi toh court ek mahila ki apni property ko uski marzi se alag kar sakta hai. Bua ke pher ki dhal hai kya?
