When Traffic Cops Stop You, I Think of Section 149 CrPC

crpc_bnss clat_ug beginner law_vs_life

So, you're driving, and suddenly a khakhi-wala stops you for no reason. You're like, "Arre, why me bro?" Then you recall, this is exactly what the law says about public servants doing their job. Section 149 CrPC talks about the duties and powers of public servants โ€“ basically, they have to be fair and not abuse their authority. It's like your favorite traffic cop suddenly becomes a human rights activist in your mind, and you're like, "Beta, mere baap ki suno, sabse jald le chalo." Just kidding, but seriously, it's a good thing to know about Section 149 if you're planning to study law or need to argue a case. CLAT UG prep is hard, but it's worth it if you can connect it to real-life situations like this.

Section 149 CrPC is v important, guys. It talks about the power of police officers to arrest without warrant where three or more persons are together, committing or abetted in any cognizable offence. Main point is, even if traffic cops stop you, if they think you're involved in a gang, they can arrest you without a warrant. So, always be careful on the roads, especially at night!

Bhai, tum kya keh rahi ho? Section 149 ko kisi bhi situation mein apply nahin kiya jaa sakta hai. Ye IPC ka section hai, kya tum yeh jaanti hai? Bas traffic jam, thoda sa galti, aur phir traffic police ke paas aapko lagta hai koi bada issue hai, lekin kya karen. Ab section 149 ko apply karna to sahi se lagta hai. Tumhara vichaar theek nahin hai.
