What's the difference between a Directive Principle of State Policy (DPSP) and a Fundamental Right (FR) in the Indian Constitution? Looks easy peasy, but trust me, it's a trap!

Mujhe toh lagta hai har student sahi answer deta hai: DPSPs are non-justiciable, FRs are justiciable, aapko rights ka benefit milta hai FRs se, aur DPSPs aapko suggestions provide karte hain. But here's the twist: the Constitution itself says that the state should endeavour to promote FRs!

Most students get stuck here - they think that DPSPs are just ' suggestions' and that FRs are absolute rights, but what about DPSPs that are actually being implemented by the state? Can't they be challenged in court if they're in contradiction with the FRs?
