Understanding the Elusive Concept of "Abettor" in IPC

Yeh, I've been reading my notes and textbook again (for the 3rd time, bhai!), and I just can't seem to grasp this one concept - "Abettor" in IPC Section 107. It's all about someone helping the main culprit, but the definition is murky. Textbooks just say it's someone who helps the offender but doesn't participate in the crime. But what does that even mean? Is it just a helper, a facilitator, or does it involve more? Can someone please give me a real-life example of someone being considered an abettor?
