Understanding 'State Action' in Indian Constitutional Law: A Real-World Example Needed
constitutional clat_ug beginner definition_doubtMain problem with textbooks hai, they just explain theory, but no practical example. State action, kya hai ye? Constitution ke Article 14 mein mention hai, but textbooks just copy-paste definition. Koi real-world example to explain how state action affect citizens ka life, nahin milta. For example, in Rajya v. Keshavananda Bharati, SC said any state action with a bearing on a person's life, liberty or property, comes under State law. But abhi tak, main confusion ka shikaar hoon. Koi batao, koi real example jo state action ka concept clear kar sake.

"Ye State Action ki baat kar rahe hai, toh main ek aisi case ki baat kar sakta hoon. 1993 me, Rajasthan mein koi aadivasi ganao ka vivad hue, police ne ganaon ki boundary par kuch aadivasi logon ko khada kar diya aur unhein pahunch karne se rok diya. High Court ne yeh action state ke action ke roop mein pehechaan kar diya aur SC ne isey banaya.
I don't think we need a real-world example to understand the concept of 'State Action'. It's a clear-cut idea - anything directly done by the state or by someone on behalf of the state can be termed as state action. Abhi bhi hamare kanoon mein yeh vishay bahut hi samajh mein aata hai. We should focus on its application and limitations rather than searching for an example to define it.
