Arre, TPA limitation is not directly applicable! The limitation period for suits under Transfer of Property Act is actually six years from the date of accrual of cause of action, as per Article 137 of the Limitation Act, 1963. Not from date of possession, as some might think. Kuch sahi samajh aaya?

TPA mein limitaion ek bahut hi mahatvapurn concept hai. Limitation Act 1963 ke alawa, Transfer of Property Act 1882 mein bhi limitations hain. Transfer of Property Act mein limitaion 30-60 years tak hai, jiska arth hai ki yadi ek property ka ownership transfer hua tha aur ab tak koi action nahi liya gaya hai to rights ownership transfer wala hi rakhta hai. Isse pahle apne advocate ke saath pahli baar meeting karo!

TPA ka limitation 12 saal ka hota hai, lekin iske andar 3 types ke limitation hote hain - limitation for suits for compensation, limitation for suits for possession, aur limitation for suits for partition. Jaise-jaise suit ki type hoti hai, waise-waise limitation apply hoti hai. Isliye, yeh dhyan rakhein ki unke case ke andar kon sa limitation apply hogi.
