Tortured in AILET Law
torts ailet intermediate failure_storyDude, AILET Law of Torts has me stuck in limbo. Went through the NCERT, Ravi Bhushan, and the usual suspects but still, no clue. Realised I was only memorising the cases and not understanding the concepts. Was expecting a clear cut definition of bailment and pledge, but all I got was a mess. Was studying at 2am, 3am, 4am, but wasn't retaining anything for more than 5 minutes. Finally decided to switch my focus from reading multiple law tomes to just one, and that's Ravi Bhushan's. Also, instead of just reading the summaries of cases, I'm going back to the actual judgments of Pappjee v/s Ramgopal and Mavani v/s State to understand the reasoning behind them. It's slow progress but at least I'm moving forward now.
