Tortious Interference with a Contract

torts bar_exam beginner case_analysis

Yar, I'm totally stuck on this one. So, let's say Rohan owns a small bakery and has a contract with his supplier, Mr. Kumar, to buy wheat flour at Rs. 20/kg. Meanwhile, Rohan's rival, Vikas, tries to sabotage Rohan's deal by telling Mr. Kumar that Rohan is not paying his bills on time. This convinces Mr. Kumar to increase the price to Rs. 25/kg, which makes Rohan's bakery unviable. Vikas has not entered into any contract with Mr. Kumar or Rohan, but his actions have caused them both loss. What tort remedy can Rohan claim against Vikas?

(I'm so confused, bhai, please help me out!)

Tortious interference with a contract hai ek jatil baat, lekin main try karoongi isey simplify karne ke liye. Yeh ek kanooni concept hai, jahaan kisi bhi adhikari ki tarf se ek third party interven karta hai, aur ek existing contract ko disturb karta hai. Iske liye, koi specific intent chahiye ki third party ne contract ko disturb karna chahta hai. Aur yeh sab kuch kanoon ke anusaar decide hoga.
