Tort v/s Crime: Kya difference hai iske beech?

torts du_llb intermediate question

Maine kuch samajh liya hai ki tort ki compensation ka matlab hai damage ki payment, lekin crime ka kya relationship hai tort ke saath? Maine suna hai ki some crimes are tortious in nature, example, defamation. Lekin ismein confusion hai ki kya crime aur tort dono hi kuch alag-alag hai, ya fir tort crime ke case hai? Aur kya dono ke liye same types of remedies hai? Maine Rajya Sabha ka case study kaha hai - inka case hai R. Krishna Venkataranga Reddy v. V. V. Srinivasan. Maine padha hai ki court ne compensation di hai. Lekin kya yeh tort ki matter hai, ya crime ki? Koi bataaye ki kya difference hai tort v/s crime ke beech?

Tort v/s Crime: Kya difference hai iske beech? Bhai logon, yeh difference bahut hi important hai. Tort hai civil action, jisme state kisi bhi ki aarthik jaankari aur keemat nikaalne ka kaam karta hai. Jabki Crime ka matlab hai haddi kee doosari hadd tak badalne ki baat. Ek tort hai, jabki dusre ki haddi ko haddi se ghusakar badal diya hai. Simple theek hai.

Bro, Tort v/s Crime: don't confuse them. Crime is against the state, Tort is against an individual. Crime has punishment, Tort has remedies (compensation). Example: if someone breaks into your house (dacoity), it's a crime. But if someone hits you in a pub fight, it's a Tort. Don't get them mixed up, folks!
