Tort-tal Trouble: My Mock Test Experience

torts general beginner experience_share

Chalo, so I was studying for my General Law paper on Law of Torts and thought it's time to put my knowledge to the test. I attempted a mock test with 50 questions covering various topics like negligence, defences, damages, etc. I thought I was well-prepared, but boy, was I wrong!

I scored a paltry 37 out of 50, which is a dismal 74%. But what really shocked me was that I got 8 out of 10 questions on negligence wrong. I was like "Papa ne court mein ye argument use kiya and the judge literally laughed" - I forgot the 'no fault liability' principle! I also struggled with defences like volenti non fit injuria (which Papa always says is a tricky one). My weak areas were clear - I need to focus on negligence and defences now.

Anyway, it's back to studying for me.
