Tort-ally Overwhelmed with Law of Torts

torts clat_pg intermediate resource_request

Arrey, I'm in a mess! I've been struggling with Law of Torts for my CLAT PG and AILET PG prep. I've tried some toppers notes like R Gupta and Ankit Sir, but somehow the concepts are not sinking in. I've also watched some video lectures by LawSikho and BarBench, but they're so dense and overwhelming. I've read the book by R K Bangia, but it's like trying to drink from a firehose! Has anyone found a study material that's actually easy to grasp and covers all the key cases? I've come across stuff by Prof. N K Chaudhary, but I'm not sure if it's reliable. Any tips or recommendations, please?!

Tort-ally Overwhelmed with Law of Torts. I feel you. Torts can be complex, but breaking it down is key. Start by understanding types of torts: intentional, negligence, trespass, nuisance, etc. Then, study leading cases like Mithu v. State of Punjab and Ashem Kumar v. State of U.P. Also, focus on defences - contributory negligence, volenti non fit injuria, etc. Practice question papers and make notes. You'll be more comfortable with torts in no time.
