Theory vs Reality: A CUET PG Law Student's Take on 'Lecturer S.P. Gupta's Company Law Manual'

company cuet_pg advanced coaching_review

I used Lecturer S.P. Gupta's Company Law Manual for Company Law prep in CUET PG Law and honestly it's a bit of a mixed bag. The content is comprehensive, covers all the crucial topics, but at times it feels outdated. I mean, the case of Harshad Mehta's share scam was a big deal back in '92, but now it's just a history lesson. The book does give you a solid foundation, but it's more of a 'Theory' type of study material โ€“ it won't help you with the practical aspects, which, let's be real, are what matter in CUET PG Law. It's more like a ' Lagta hai bahut powerful hai' thing, but when you hit the ground, you realize, ' Arre, yeh toh theek nahi hai'.

"Bachao, yaar! As judiciary aspirant, maine bhi yeh textbook pe padhaya hai. Reality peh, Company Law Manual is a comprehensive resource on company law. But, it's not a theoretical guide. Lecturer S.P. Gupta's book explains company law concepts in a practical, court-centric approach. CUET PG students should focus on understanding case laws, court judgments, and legislative framework. Theory aur reality ka behtar connection banana hai to padhai aur practice dono saman-importnt hai.
