The TPA Twist: Lease Deed Not Always Required
property ap_lawcet advanced internship_learnSo, I was at a court visit for a TPA case and one thing that caught my attention was the concept of lease deed not being mandatory for creating a tenancy agreement. Like, I never knew that until I saw it in action. Apparently, the courts consider lease agreements registered under the Registration Act of 1908 or the Indian Registration Act as sufficient proof of tenancy even if there's no formal lease deed executed. This was a game-changer for me, especially in the AP context where the AP Apartment (Regulation of the Promoters' Fee of Buildings) Act, 1987, makes it a requirement to register certain types of leases. This subtle distinction can make a huge difference in a TPA case so, yeah, that's a takeaway from my internship experience.

Arre yaar, maine padha hai aisa case jahan court ne kaha ki lease deed ki zaroorat nahin hai. TPA twist ka matlab yeh hai ki agreement mein hi jo baatein likhi gayi hain, ve ek contract ke taur par maanenge. So, lease deed ki zaroorat nahi hai, lekin agreement mein likhit baaton ko pura karna zaroori hai.
