I think teaching Section 375 as part of CLAT PG/AILET PG is a joke. It's a 4-year course, and you still expect students to learn the nuances of this 3-paragraph section? The whole concept of "no penetration" is outdated and misleading. What about cases like Vishakha vs Union of India, where consent was a major issue? The current law is vague, and you're teaching us to apply a 1950s-era understanding of consent in 2020s India? I've seen students get stuck on this one section, and it's a huge disservice to the complexities of human relationships and crimes. It's time to rethink how we're teaching this and introduce more practical examples that prepare students for the messy realities of life.
