The Myth of 'Learn by Heart' CPC for DU LLB Entrance

I think the emphasis on memorizing CPC sections and order is completely overrated for DU LLB entrance prep. I mean, yes, you need to know the basics, but just because someone can spew out CPC sections from memory doesn't mean they understand the underlying principles or can apply them in real-world scenarios. In fact, I think the exam encourages rote learning over critical thinking, which is a shame. The best way to prepare for CPC questions is to actually understand the concepts behind them, and that can't be achieved by just memorizing. It's like expecting a student to 'learn' a language just by memorizing words without learning grammar or vocabulary usage. Give me someone who can break down a CPC section into its constituent parts and apply it to a real-life case any day!
