A 'good' lawyer should be able to think critically, not just regurgitate sections. This obsession with passing a single exam and getting a degree has led to so many mediocore lawyers graduating, thinking they're qualified to take on the world. What good is it to know every single section of the IPC if you can't argue a case with conviction? The law is not just about knowing what's written, it's about living it.

Aapne bahut sahi baat ki hai! IPC focus ka bhaiya lagta hai, par maine sune hai ki yeh focus sirf kuch hi colleges mein hai. Mujhe pata hai ek dost ne Daulat Ram college se select ho gaya hai aur woh uske syllabus mein IPC se zyada Contract aur Family law pe focus tha.
Maine toh sabhi ko warna kya pata tha ki LLB entrance mein IPC ki takkar hogi?! Lekin agar aapke pass civil rights ya constitutional law ki knowledge nahi hai, to aapka aage ka rasta kathin ho jaayega. Humko ismein broad thinking aur analytical skills ka practice karni chahiye, IPC par dependency nahi.
