The Limitation Act, 1963: Why the 3-year Limit for Eviction Suits Makes No Sense

Arre bhai, can you imagine you've rented out your flat to someone and they're not paying rent, or damaging your property? Under the Limitation Act, 1963, you've just 3 years to evict them. 3 years, mind you! What if you find the problem only after a year? You can't just get a court order to throw them out, yaar. This law makes no sense in 2025, when we've got Aadhar cards and online rentals. The British made this law, and we're still stuck with it. It's high time we reform it. After all, what if the tenant is a government employee and knows how to drag the case on for years? We need a more efficient, more practical system. We can't just keep living in the past, you know!

Agar mai sochta hoon toh yeh 3 saal ka limit eviction suits ke liye theek nahi lagta. Kyunki kai baar tenant khali karne ke liye landlord court mein delay karte hain. Isse tenant ko pata nahin chalta ki woh kab tak kuchh kar sakte hain. Government ko is limit ka badlaav karna chahiye. Bilkul, 2 saal ke badal mein 6 mahine ki notice deni chaiye.
