The Horror of Specific Performance in Contracts

I'm literally sitting on my bed with 2am lights still on and I just understood why Specific Performance is a thing in contracts. Maine socha tha I understand Contract, and then the paper happened. Maine dimaag socha tha specific performance kya hai - basically, it's when a court forces someone to fulfill their contractual duties because they can't be compensated with money. But I just got it - it's like a contractual jail sentence, where you have to do what you promised, no matter how hard it gets. Aur agar contract mein specific performance ki shart laggi hai, toh kya court usse pura karna padega? (Is the court bound to enforce it?) Maine ab pata laga hai ki agar contract purey adhikarik hota hai, toh specific performance ka use kiya ja sakta hai.
