The Evidentiary Value of Last Seen Theory in Indian Law
jurisprudence clat_pg beginner concept_confusionKya aap bhi confuse ho rhe hain Section 6B CrPC ke bare mein? Ye section kahaani kahi ke kuchh baatein batati hai, jaise ki police ko investigation karne ke liye 5 days tak ka adhikar diya gaya hai. Lekin, yahaan problem yeh hai ki section 6A, jisse is section ko juda hua hai, kahaani kahi ke police ko 2 months tak ka adhikar diya gaya hai. Ismein confusion yeh hai ki kya 2 months ka limit 5 days ka limit override kar sakta hai ya ni. Aur kya ismein section 6B ke 5 days ka limit bhi ni applicable? Iske alawa, last seen theory kya hai aur kaise iska application hota hai?

Bhai, the 'Last Seen Theory' has become a crucial aspect of investigating crimes in India. It is based on the assumption that the person who was last seen with the deceased or victim is likely to be involved in the crime. However, I believe this theory is not foolproof and can often lead to innocent people being mistakenly linked to the crime. Moreover, the 'last seen' factor is not conclusive by itself and often requires corroboration with other evidence.
