Taxing our brains: Taxation Law should not be a compulsory subject for LL.B.

Main problem hai, taxation law is way too vast, and we don't get a chance to specialize. Jab tum log mock tests dete ho, I'm at my shift, and all I think about is how to quickly finish the paper. Our LL.B. syllabus is already stuffed with subjects, and adding taxation law will just add to our stress.

Moreover, only a small percentage of lawyers deal with taxation, so why should we all be forced to study it? It's like forcing every doctor to learn cardiology just because it's a popular field. Why not offer taxation law as an optional elective? That way, those who want to specialize in it can, and those who don't can focus on other areas of law. It's just common sense, na?

I strongly disagree. Taxation Law is a fundamental aspect of business operations aur ek bada topic hai. LL.B students should know fundamentals of taxation, kya hoga if we don't know how to calculate income from business transactions and deductions? Ye to basic knowledge hai. Not making it compulsory will hamare liye kafi bada drawback hoga. Taxation is a major part of Indian law, toh humein compulsory padhna chahiye.

Ye koi zaroorat nahi hai ki LL.B ke shikshakon ko Taxation Law ki padhai ke liye daba diya jaye. Ek lawyer banne ke liye unki aawaz ka prabhav aur kanooni kaushal ka dhyan lena zyada zaroori hai. Taxation Law ka adhyan karne se student pratyek shiksha ko samajhne aur vyavastha ki vyapak drishti ko badhane mein samarth ho payenge.
