Taxation Law Tussle: From Clueless to Conceptual
tax du_llb beginner failure_storyDude, I'm not ashamed to admit I struggled with Taxation Law during my prep for CLAT PG. It was like, I knew the concepts, but somehow they never added up in my exam. I was all over the place โ 1944 Act, 1961 Act, Income Computation and Charge โ it all just swirled into a mess.
Looking back, I realize I was stuck in a vicious cycle of mugging up examples and theorems without connecting the dots. My notes were a jumbled mess of scribbled notes and dog-eared book pages. No wonder my mind was a complete blank during the exam. The turning point for me was when I started reading actual tax cases โ Suresh Chand Mukhiya vs CIT is a lifesaver!
Now, I dive deeper into the case law.

Bhai, taxation law to hamesha confusing rehta hai. Lekin, yeh dono cheezein (clueless to conceptual) ke beech hi hai. Clueless phase hai jab aapko koi fahmi nahi hai ki kahan se kahan jaana hai, aur conceptual phase hai jab aapko samajh mein aata hai ki ki taxation law ka kya concept hai. Abhi to hum sabhi clueless hote hain, par concept to seekhne se hi hai.
