Taxation Law needs to be split from General Law Study
tax general intermediate hot_takeI know, I know, it sounds crazy, but hear me out. Tax Law is like a whole different cuisine, not something you can just add to your plate with other subjects like a sprinkle of spices. It's too complex, too vast, too nuanced. General Law Study already piles on cases, contracts, property, etc. - adding tax law on top just makes it unmanageable.
And let's be real, most of us, including me, messed up our taxation papers because it felt like an afterthought, a bonus chapter in the textbook. It's not the students' fault - the curriculum's at fault. We can't possibly do justice to taxation if it's not given the attention it deserves. What do you guys think? Should taxation be a standalone course or integrated into General Law Study?
