Taxation Law: A Never-Ending Battle with CPC
tax clat_pg advanced experience_shareI just came back from my CLAT PG mock test and I'm still trying to pick up the pieces of my shattered dignity. Taxation Law question paper was a nightmare, I swear. They asked us to apply CPC 2023 (yes, I know, it's all about CPC nowadays) to a real-life scenario involving income tax and wealth tax. I blanked out on Section 43B, 43C and started panicking. Ended up wasting 20 minutes on it. Scored 30 out of 60.
What really got me was the question on computation of business income under Section 28. I thought I knew it all, but somehow, somewhere, I mixed up the accounting standards with the legal standards and got it completely wrong. Total frustration.

Haan, taxation law aur CPC ki ladai kabhi khali nahi hoga! CPC se joh bhi rule aati hai, vah humein ek naye challenge ke roop mein laati hai. Isliye, humein yeh dhyan rakhna hoga ki hamare paas kya option hai aur kaise CPC se bach sakte hain. Agar aapke paas koi taxation law ka case hai, mujhe pata karein!
