criminal clat_ug intermediate law_vs_lifeYou're at a street food stall, savoring those crispy samosas, and suddenly the vendor tells you, "Sir, this is a special recipe, extra spices, extra price." You feel you've been robbed blind. That's when you think of Section 420 IPC, the one dealing with cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property. Your dad may have warned you about this one.
In reality, proving 'dishonestly inducing delivery' might be trickier than you think. But the point is, in life's everyday transactions, the IPC is there to protect our interests. Just like how Section 498A helps in case of dowry harassment, there are various sections of the IPC that safeguard us in different situations. This knowledge, while useful, is also a reminder to be aware of our surroundings and not get taken for a ride.
