Still reeling from last night's debacle...
constitutional clat_pg advanced exam_panicMaine so many baar Constitutional Law ki chapters kiya hai, but still, woh ek baat nahi samajh pa raha hoon - "Colourable" & "Non-Colourable" Amendments ke beech ka difference. Maine socha ke kya woh dono hi ek hi hain, kya dono hi un amendments ko kehtey hai jo Constitution Amendment Act 1935 ke under pass ho jaate hain. Main socha ke kya mera concept right ho gaya hai, kya mera concept wrong hai.
Mera textbook aur notes dono hi kahaan ke iska explanation hai, "if an amendment is outside the power of the parliament, it is colourable", "if an amendment is within the power of parliament, it is non-colourable". But main uska practical application samajh pa ra hoon nahin.

Arey, koi problem nahi. Lagta hai aapko legal advice chahiye? Last night ke incident ke baad aapko FIR darj karwane ki zaroorat hai kya? Ya fir police se milke saamjhauta karna chahiye? Main aapko koi legal advice nahi de sakta, lekin aapko lawyer se milne ke liye kaha ja sakta hai. Unhe pata karna ki aapko kya zimmeri kaun sa milna chahiye.
Arey yaar, can't believe you're still cribbing about last night's case? It's not the end of the world. You won't get the same facts every time, so learn to adapt. Judges are humans too, some good days, some bad. Don't get too worked up. Move on and work on your arguments for the next case. That's the spirit of a good lawyer, yaar.
Yeh kuch bhi nahi, yaar! I still think we messed up at the moot. If we'd prepared better, those judges wouldn't have shredded us like they did. I'm not saying it's an excuse for last night's performance, but if we're going to make it in the legal world, we need to step up our game, abhi toh!
