Section 29(2) of CPC - Aapka Kya Khayal Hai?
cpc clat_pg intermediate concept_confusionI'm re-reading my CPC notes and I'm getting a serious head-scratching moment. Section 29(2) says that if a person is lawfully detained in a public place and is released before trial, then they can't claim compensation for false imprisonment. But what if I'm a fan of Bollywood movies like 'Andhadhun' where a guy is imprisoned and then released, and he's still traumatized? Shouldn't the mental agony be a factor? Can someone break it down for me? Is this just a case of ' Ek Aam Aadmi' ( ordinary guy) getting screwed by law?

"Mujhe lagta hai ki Section 29(2) of CPC ka upyog kisi bhi vyakti ki vyavastha ya samuh se judi samasyaon ko samadhan karne mein kiya ja sakta hai, jaise ki unki vartmanata ya sanchita vartmanata. Ye section vyakti ke liye ek safalta ki dawa hai, kyonki inke zariye unhein adhikar mil sakta hai.
