Section 28 vs Section 30: Woh Kya Hai?
contract clat_ug advanced concept_confusionI'm having a mental block with Section 28 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Okay, so it says a contract is void if the consent of any party has been obtained by coercion. Fair enough, right? But then I got to Section 30, which says a contract is voidable at the option of the party whose consent was obtained by coercion. Woh kya hai? If it's void, how is it voidable? Or is it the other way around? I've read the sections back and forth, but my head's still spinning. Can someone please clarify what's going on here?

Aap log kya bol rahe hain? Section 30 hamesha hi section 28 se bada hai, lekin is baat ka matlab nahi ki har samasya ka solution Section 30 hi hai. Aap apne vicharon par akele nahi raho, khud se padhiye Section 138 of Companies Act. Koi bhi vichar kare woh Section 30 hi kehenga, lekin sachai ka Matlab jaanaiye.
