Section 27 Evidence Act: Can't Save Your Reputation

Ye sab kuch baat hai ki Section 27 Evidence Act ke madhyam se public servant ki reputation ko bachaya ja sakta hai, lekin yeh kai baar galat hai. Maine internship ke dauraan dekha hai ki is section ka use lawyer ekdam last me karte hain, jab unke clients ke paas koi anya chhupa nahi hai. Lekin real scenario mein, Section 27 ka use sirf tab kiya jata hai jab evidence ki reliability aur authenticity ka proof kiya jata hai. Aur agar public servant ko koi shikaayat ho, to inka defence kaisa hoga? Kya voh Section 27 ke tahat apni reputation ko bacha paenge? Inka defence kuch vishesh evidence ki avashyakta hoti hai.

Arre, I think there's kuch confusion. Section 27 of Evidence Act is actually about relevant facts. It says that if a fact is relevant to the issue in question, it can be accepted as evidence. Yeh doesn't mean your reputation is safe, woh toofani interpretation hai. You can still face consequences if you've done something wrong.
