Section 24: Admission by a person of an act done through mistake or ignorance

Kya yeh section galat se use ki ja rahi hai? Let's take question from AILET PG 2020: "A woman is tried for the murder of her husband. At the time of the trial, she admits that she did kill him but claims she did it under a temporary insanity. Her defence is that she didn't know what she was doing. Can this be considered as an admission under Section 24 of the Indian Evidence Act?"
