Section 125 CrPC: What's the deal with 'reasonable prospects of livelihood'

I'm really confused about Section 125 CrPC. So we had this case where the husband had a monthly income of 10k, wife claimed maintenance of 25k saying she needs it to maintain the standard of living. The court said she's not entitled to maintenance coz she has reasonable prospects of livelihood. But what exactly does that mean? Is it just about being able to get a job or is it something more? And what about if she's already working but still not earning as much as the husband? Is it a one-time assessment or a continuous thing? The case cited was 'Dharmawanthi vs State' but I'm still not clear on this. Can someone explain this to me in a way that makes sense?
