- Understand Section 84 (Insanity defence) - it's a game-changer! The burden of proof, the standard of proof, etc. Don't just memorise, grasp the concept.
- Know your Exceptions to General Exceptions - Section 300, 301, etc. Study the landmark cases like Muthuramalingam Pillai v State (1953) etc.
- Revision of General Exceptions - 85, 88, 95, 96, 98, 102, 106. You gotta know the fine distinction between them.

Practice previous year papers, and make a note of tricky questions. Also, focus on current affairs, especially recent judgments and articles.
