Reforming BSA: It's Time to Ditch the Hearsay Rule
evidence general beginner hot_takeI'm calling out the outdated Hearsay Rule in the Indian Evidence Act. It's high time we reconsider its relevance in modern Indian courts. This rule, which allows secondary evidence, often leads to unreliable testimony and compromises the integrity of justice. Hearsay evidence is inherently subjective, prone to distortion, and easily manipulated. Why are we still teaching and applying this 19th-century concept? The law needs to adapt to the changing times and technological advancements. It's time for a reevaluation of the Hearsay Rule and a shift towards more robust, reliable, and efficient methods of gathering and using evidence.

Bhai, yeh toh bahut zaroori hai! Hearsay rule ek purana aur galat rule hai jo koi bhi case ko toot sakta hai. BSA ko reform karna hoga aur humein iske bajaay koi naya rule banana hoga jiske alawa evidence par hi case ka nirnaya hoga. Iske liye humein ekjut harna hoga!
