Property Law: The Unfair Advantage of Law of Contract Over Specific Relief

property clat_pg beginner experience_share

Okay, so I was studying for CLAT PG and I had this mock test on Property Law. And I was surprised, my score was around 85%. But the thing is, most of my marks came from Law of Contract. I mean, in theory, it's all about Specific Relief but in the mock test, the questions were so dominated by contractual issues. I got 25 out of 30 in Contract and only 18 out of 30 in Specific Relief. I was like, "What about Specific Performance?" But no, it was all about breach of contract and contractual remedies. I guess, this is what happens when they give you a mix of subjects in the test. I was weak in Easements, got only 2 out of 5.
