Outdated "Married Women's Property Act" Needs Revamp
jurisprudence mh_cet_law advanced reform_ideaYeh 1874 wali Act kaisi hai! In 21st century mein, yeh still apply karti hai. According to this Act, a married woman's property is her husband's. Jab tum log mock tests dete ho, I'm at my shift, but this law needs a serious review. In 2025, women's rights toh sabse imp hai. But still, our laws lag behind. Under this Act, a married woman cannot sell, gift, or mortgage property without her husband's consent. Kaisi logic hai yeh? If she's earning, she can't decide what to do with her hard-earned money?
This law gives undue control to husbands over their wives' property. In many cases, women are forced to live in abusive marriages or leave with nothing. This provision makes no sense.

Yepp, agreed! The Married Women's Property Act needs a major makeover. It's outdated and doesn't give married women the autonomy they deserve over their properties. As we progress in this tech era, our laws should too! It's time for our govt to wake up and recognize the rights of women. Kudos to the ones fighting for it!
Agar hum married women ko purani "Married Women's Property Act" se jeetne ke liye majboot karna chahte hain, toh kuch zaroori sudhar karna hoga. Shamil karna hoga: property rights khatam hone se bachna, maintenance aur custody rights improve karna, aur hamesha court mein support aur protection ensure karne ke liye separate lawyers ki provision banani. In sudharon se married women ka samman aur suraksha badhayi jaa sakti hai.
