Negligence is not always a bad thing

Yaar, I think we're taught wrong in DU LLB. Everyone says negligence is bad, but what about when it leads to innovation? When a scientist or doctor is doing something new, they're bound to take risks. What if that risk leads to a better treatment or process? I'm not talking about medical malpractice here, but actual negligence in the name of progress. We shouldn't just view negligence as a negative, we should see the potential for growth and development. Think about it, what if we didn't have penicillin because Alexander Fleming was too careful? The law of Torts should recognize that sometimes, a little bit of negligence can lead to a big breakthrough.

Mujhe lagta hai yeh statement theek hai. Sometimes negligence can be a good thing. For example, when a doctor is too busy to operate, if someone else is negligent and stops the clock, it saves a life. It's all about perspective. Negligence can be intentional or unintentional. Unintentional negligence can be a blessing in disguise. Agree?
